A warehouse app that runs receiving to shipping

The problem

Inventory lived in a mix of spreadsheets and memory. Receiving wasn't recorded consistently, nobody could say what was on a shelf without walking over to it, and picking mistakes only surfaced after packages had left the building.

What we built

We built a warehouse application around the building's real workflow: receiving records stock as it arrives, every item has a location, picking is scanned against the order so errors show up before boxes are sealed, and shipping is generated from what was actually packed.

The result

The team can see what's in stock and where it is, mistakes get caught at the scan instead of at the customer, and new warehouse staff are productive in days instead of months.
