Checkomatic.com: checks and envelopes, customized online

The problem

Checks aren't ordinary products. Every order is a custom layout — bank fields, logos, fonts, colors — and envelopes carry their own layout rules. On a generic storefront there's no way to design the product before you buy it, and a layout error doesn't mean a refund, it means an unusable product.

What we built

We customized Checkomatic.com around the product itself. Customers pick a check or envelope style and customize the layout online — bank information, logo, typography — with a live preview of exactly what will print. The approved layout travels with the order into production.

The result

Customers see their checks before they buy them, reorders take one click, and the layout that was approved is the layout that prints. Fewer proofing rounds, fewer reprints.
