The in-house app that runs a national check printer

The problem

A national check printing business runs on details: every order carries custom artwork, bank data, and print specifications, and a mistake anywhere means reprints and missed ship dates. Off-the-shelf software was never built for that workflow, and the volume had outgrown what manual coordination could handle.

What we built

We built and maintain the company's in-house application. Orders come in from the web store and phone, move through proofing and production queues, and leave with carrier labels and tracking — all in one system the whole team works in. Print specifications, bank validation, and fulfillment rules live in the workflow instead of in people's heads.

The result

One system runs the operation end to end. Orders move from placed to printed to shipped without anything retyped, and the owners can see exactly where every order stands at any moment.
